MANHOLE
Standard size 600mm in diameter manhole is provided complete with cover.
FOUNDATION
The tank can be placed on any flat surface or even sand. For an elevated tank, it must be fully supported with minimum of 6mm thick steel plate/chequered plate placed on 1400mm by 140mm '1' beams with 600mm common interval center, it can also rest on flat slab.

COMPARISON OF SIDMANN WATER TANK WITH OTHER TANK
SUPPORT FOR ALL TYPE OF SIDMANN MOULDED TANKS
The whole area of the tank must be supported with a smooth, flat, firm, continuous and durable materials.
Recommended support are as follows
- 150mm thick concrete slab of 2400mm x 2400mm
- Marine Grade Plywood not less than 25mm thick and supported on a plank of 100mm x 150mm with a distance of 600mm center to center (for indoor used only)
- 6mm thick steel plate/chequered plate supported on a 125mm x 125mm '1' beam with a distance of 600mm center to center.
